Before implementing our solution, our client, a company in the manufacturing industry, was faced with the challenge of replacing an outdated and error-prone Excel-based supplier evaluation method. The previous approach required significant manual effort and was unable to effectively monitor key supplier performance indicators such as quality, delivery capability, delivery reliability and certifications. In addition, external factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine crisis made supply chain monitoring considerably more difficult.
Objective
The aim was to establish a fast and user-friendly monitoring system that would enable purchasing and management to identify and analyze faults at an early stage and derive suitable optimization measures.
